To one who is aware - to one who seeks, knocks and asks , the gate swings open, its secret operations pour out in generous proportion. - I CHING
William P. McElligott (Willie) brings a unique insight to the art of photographing Architecture, Sports and People.
Coming from a background in Architecture, this early experience brings a fresh perspective and appreciation to capturing the art of architecture on film be it for architects, engineers and/or builders. As an avid skier, sailor and mountain biker Willie's appreciation for the dedication to excellence in sports is reflected throughout his portfolio. With over twenty years of professional experience, his work has been showcased in Canadian Geographic, Canadian Architect, Sports Illustrated and Bodycheck / Score (Ottawa Senators Hockey Club) among others. His work has won numerous awards and been an integral part of several successful architectural bids.

Having traveled extensively over the past twenty years on assignments around the world Willie feels completely at ease in any situation. He is always seeking to be in the right place at the right time. " For me, rising before the sun and capturing the first rays of light reflected on film, be it of a building, event or an aspect of nature has and always will be an exciting and invigorating moment "

Willie's experience in covering sports events has taken him from regional, to national to international events covering, World Championships in Windsurfing, Bobsledding, Hockey, Mountainbiking and Skiing. He also covered the XV Olympic Winter Games in Calgary, The Australian Open in Tennis , NHL Hockey for the Ottawa Senators, and as a volunteer for the alpine events for the Special Olympics in the year 2000.

Willie is married to and shares a studio with, Norma Lu Brown a web manager, they both in turn share the studio with their young son Sean.
Norma Lu Brown brings problem solving expertise to both print and web design projects.

Prior to 1991 Norma Lu held an integral role on the project team which set-up the computer LAN system at CSIS. Since then she has been actively involved in producing corporate identity packages for clients in such diverse fields as construction, tourism, computer, medical, investment and real estate.

As the web manager of CIET International www.ciet.org Norma Lu is involved in all aspects of web development and management which include research and site design, search engine optimization and registration and daily site updating. Integral to site updating is Norma's expertise in reworking existing documentation, either Mac or PC based, to show effectively on the web or alternatively to print from personal PC's for personnel in the field.

The majority of Norma's work is received and sent out electronically, which allows her to work from the studio located in the Gatineau Hills. This proximity to nature allows fresh problem solving ideas to flow freely and creative solutions to manifest themselves.

When Norma is not solving problems on her computer she can be found teaching downhill skiing, paddling or mountain biking from her backyard.
