Tour Date: Sept. 25- Oct. 4, 2012

In the mid seventies , I had driven down the former Yugoslavian coast in my VW van on my way to Greece. Going back last Fall, rekindled my memories of a beautiful land. The country is a study of superlatives, an ancient history, stunning architecture, beautiful old port towns, art and artists, food, festivals and the best part the people, warm and friendly eager to make you feel at home.

I am excited to sharing this with keen photographers. Lynda Milina will be our host taking care of all reservations, bookings and payments. I can personally guarantee you that she will take good care of us. Come join us in the Fall of 2012 and treat your eyes to unlimited possibilities.

"These tours are for photographers that want to be in the right place at the right time; rising before the sun and finishing long after sunset. Some days are quite long, so a level of fitness is expected. We get to live, play and work with our passion. One of my favorite sayings for these tours is 'always expect the unexpected'.

grkgrapesDAY 1
Guests are met at the Dubrovnik airport and must arrive before 7pm for our first group dinner

DAY 2-3
Cavtat is your first introduction to Croatia. Located 3 km from the airport and 30 minutes from Dubrovnik but considered part of the Dubrovnik Riviera. The Cavtat area is most attractive because of the Mediterranean vegetation that covers the whole area; another advantage is unpolluted sea and a very attractive mixture of old and new architecture. In ancient times, Cavtat was a Greek settlement known as Epidaurum, so its cultural life and historical tradition is thereby enriched.

DAY 4
Guest are shuttled to the Island of Korcula. The 2 /12 hour drive will be broken up with photographic opportunities before catching the ferry in Orebic to go to the Island. Here you will be able to settle into your home away from home in Lumbarda.

DAY 5-9
On the tour you will see vistas rich in vineyards, quiet coves, small beaches, flourishing olive trees and quaint architecture. This part of Croatia is unique in its beauty, encouraging one to take pleasure in photography.

Your photography tour includes scenic areas such as Brna, Vela Luka, Pupnat, Smokvica, Orebic and Pelisac Peninsula (Mainland), Racisce, Korcula and Lumbarda, as picked by your instructor. Our day set in motion by your instructor.

At the end of the day we will return to the "LOVRIC" for some fabulous food and wine. Please click here to view LOVRIC accommodations

DAY 10
Travel day back to Dubrovnik, with photographic opportunities. Lunch in Cavtat and then a free night.

Day 11
We will travel to Dubrovnik where our final day will be spent. Lunch will be served in Old Dubrovnik followed by a tour of the old city. Later in the afternoon, you will be taken to Villa Cavtat accommodations, located 3km from the airport. Our last dinner will be in the quaint village of Cavtat.
